Playing With Purpose
The Ateneo Classic proudly benefits The PUSO Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2017. P.U.S.O. stands for Purposeful Unconditional Service to Others — and “puso” means heart in Tagalog, reflecting how every initiative is led: with heart.
PUSO’s mission is to provide hope with a purpose by empowering individuals to engage in meaningful service and create lasting impact worldwide. Through volunteers and partners, the foundation supports disaster relief, education access, and critical healthcare initiatives.
Current initiatives include Hope Reframed, a long-term rebuilding effort after Typhoon Odette that has provided 16 homes for families in Siargao. Most recently, in response to Typhoon Tino (2025), PUSO mobilized immediate relief efforts in Cebu.
